Firstly, Pulp is one of my absolute favourites and has been for years now. The aesthetic is a great first impression but the fragrances keep you there!
This 10ml roller of Heliophile. It's beautiful, soft and delicately fruity. The coconut water gives it a dreamy quality and the vanilla is super smooth and creamy.
It is reminiscent of Vanilglia Vivace (that line is amazing I'd love to see them again) but more of a gossamer feeling.
Packaging is great, quality materials, no leaks and problem free shipping.
omg i'm so glad i was able to secure Casati, even though the other scents i wanted during the sale were already gone. it ended up smelling exactly how the notes described. the rose, oud, and sandalwood blended together so nicely, and i really loved the little touch of apricot at the end. it added just enough sweetness without taking over. such a pretty fragrance, i'm really happy i grabbed this one.
I found it to be very feminine in a beautiful vintage way. Like how fragrances used to smell. It’s timeless though and find it pairs well with other oils too.
This fragrance was so intriguing by the description, and I’m so glad I tried it because it’s so one of a kind. It’s so beautiful on my skin, I absolutely love it.
I received a 1.25ml screw cap sample of this last week and I'm already upsizing it. Not to be too heavy-handed, but I "just can't get enough" of this particular scent. I've tried most of the Valentine's collection and this one is my absolute favourite.
I especially love the raspberry and red currant preserves. They not only last (as a distinct accord) for 2+ hours on my skin but there's a definite berry-tinge to the dry down that I absolutely adore.
The video shows the remaining sample level after one use. I strongly recommend picking up screw cap samples if you can swing them--they're so much easier to store and use than the wand samples. They come filled all the way to the very top and last 2-3+ weeks.
This scent is pure nostalgia in a bottle. It smells just like the ginger molasses cookies we'd make during the holiday season when I was growing up. I think it's my favourite Pulp Fragrance perfume yet. My video shows what the screw top samples look like after one use--still lots and lots of gingerbread goodness left for those cold and snowy days!
This is such a beautiful scent. I think a lot of people would find it "masculine" because it's very woody and herbal but obviously anyone can wear it. It dries down to a very comforting herb scent that's a bit tough to describe but it's so lovely I really kept sniffing my wrist for the rest of the evening. I felt wonderfully warm and cozy every time I smelled it. My mom loved it so much I bought her a bottle for Mother's Day :)
Slightly weird review but I think it captures the longevity of this perfume. This scent has become my go to, I love it so much. All of the scents I have tried are amazing and unique but this is my favourite. I knew it lasted a long time but I unintentionally put it through one heck of a test. I applied it like regular one morning. Well later that day norovirus decided to descend upon me. I spent 48 hours in the hospital. I was sweating like crazy, lost 12 lbs of god only knows off my body and had more blood removed than I even thought possible. Despite my disgusting state… this perfume stuck around!! So much so that about 30 hours into the whole ordeal the nurse who was taking my blood said she didn’t know how it was possible but I smelled good. I could still smell little traces of it when I got home. I will never buy fragrance from anywhere else again, it’s more reliable than any person.
This is such a lovely scent! I received Ghostling as a sample with a previous order. I usually steer clear of vanilla because it gives me headaches, but this one is such a nice light smell that I can wear it all day without issue. I love that it's a true vanilla bean note and it doesn't lean synthetic or super saccharine even after a few hours. There's not much throw, but I can smell it on myself for hours! I will definitely purchase a full size with my next order.
Wow I am amazed with the flawless blend from caramel to lychee, very well done! Also the lychee is not artificial at all it truly smells like you are bitting in a really juicy lychee 😍
This perfume smells sooo good. I like to bake a cinnamon bundt cake from time to time and I swear this smells EXACTLY like it! It's a very realistic gourmand. One tiny complaint is that it doesn't last as long as I would like it to on my skin. But I'm still satisfied with it!
Love this one!! It's a beautiful smoky scent with a lot of depth. It's a cold smoke, but it's not at all overwhelming or acrid. The cypress really shines, giving it an amazing woody quality.
And great customer service! They were super responsive and helped me out when I needed to make modifications to my order. Great packaging, and love that they threw in a free sample and sticker!
Wonderful perfume with great longevity. Even from the bottle, it's obvious that the scent is well blended. But it's on the skin where it really shines! It'll be one I reach for often during the fall/winter ❤️
5/5 - love it! Be sure to let this one rest before applying it. It immediately smelled gorgeous in the bottle but without letting it rest it was very smokey on the skin. After waiting a week to try again, I'm in love. It's intriguing and cozy all the way from when it's freshly applied and still wet through to the dry down (my favourite). I applied it yesterday morning and can still smell the lingering smoke-tinged sweetness today, which is incredible considering I only applied one small stripe to each wrist. Just the perfect autumnal scent that will transition well into winter.
I first got widow in white as a random sample that I thought was definitely not my style. But then it grew on me and eventually I had to have more! It is what I imagine the fanciest hotel spa to smell like. Light, gorgeous, refreshing. Not at all cloying like I often find florals to be. I admit that I have used a few precious drops on wool dryer balls to make all my sheets and blankets smell like this.
This is seriously one of the most beautiful scents I've ever smelled. It's powdery, comforting, and slightly musky. It makes me want to lie under the covers in bed surrounded by fluffy pillows and blankets. I can't recommend this enough if you're into powdery scents!
I've been looking for a sweet clove and cinnamon fragrance for a while and this one is great. It stands well on its own but I think I'm going to layer it a lot with other fragrances that are too basic to make them more interesting.
The pleasant strangeness of all of these is exactly what I was hoping for. Hall of Mirrors in particular took me to the carnival of Bradbury's Something Wicked This Way Comes.
wonderful clean green scent, truly transported me to a wellness resort in Thailand… Even if only when I close my eyes *sigh*. Only con is that it’s relatively mild on my skin and the longevity is somewhat lacking as a result. Starts off bright, green, fruity and floral and dries down to a beautiful clean, soapy skin smell.
This scent evokes laundry in the sun and clean skin with a hint of soap. It's perfect for everyday and gives a very natural scent by the end of day. Like wearing a favorite tshirt of someone you love.
Ooh, this is SUCH a nice scent!! It starts off with a super realistic, green fig/fig leaf note. As it dries down, the fig starts to get a creamier smell to it, but it's still really green-forward. Eventually, it completely dries down into a nice musky scent. I definitely recommend this if you're into green-smelling scents!
I cannot describe how enchanting this! It literally smells like something a faerie would wear, it’s like a fig tree after a summer rainstorm. I know that isn’t very useful so I’ll try to describe it as practically as possible; All the featured notes listed are very accurate and this fragrance could be unisex but leans feminine. There’s definitely some bitter notes and a rounded not sharp sweetness to it. When I first smelled it I thought it wasn’t especially floral but I’ve realized it is, it just takes after real flowers not the telephone memory of a flower. From personal experience, I couldn’t find cyclamen as listed but the closest for comparison were lilies and tulips. Also there’s a zesty component to it, not spicy or citrus not exactly pine either but closest to it, altogether very green. The projection of this reminds me of what Fitzgerald wrote in the Great Gatsby “I’ve heard it said that Daisy’s murmur was only to make people lean toward her; an irrelevant criticism that made it no less charming.” It pulls people in rather than expelling outwards, inviting people closer.
This is my fav Pulp style of fragrance - atmospheric gourmand. Just like Hall of Mirrors, That First Fall Day, and Friday Night Ritual, you get these gourmand facets mixed with an atmosphere that totally transports you. This makes me feel the setting of a cafe, the wisteria blossoming, the pastry in front of me. Really cool and beautiful.
I bought this because another review said it smelled ‘ozone-y’ with an ‘aquatic undertone’ and I had to know what that meant. I am not disappointed, this is absolutely lovely. There’s a bit of a ‘kick’ to it on first application but it settles down very nicely. This lasts through an average day out and is just as wearable in an art gallery as it is in on a hike. This smells like a forest and is a bit nostalgic for me because I spent part of my childhood in Ontario, this is spot on for a boreal forest and wildflowers.
So good. Sweet candy violet & sparkly lemonade! If you like Violet & citrus it’s a must try. It has great projection and throw:) hope it returns so I can get a full-size!
Eagle Hill Cemetery really captures the smell of wet muddy grass and stone, but very cold and a tinge greener, it has the same level of musk as tea tree oil- it's a really good atmospheric scent! I also love the sample that they included with my order
Gooorgeous grungy campfire and engine grease! This reminds me of some of the best camping trips I’ve ever been on. Just glorious. I don’t full-size lightly, but this one is slated for full-size once the 6ml open top bottles are in stock again!
Hive is one of the newer purchases I’ve made, with notes of “honeycomb, cardamom, black amber, vanilla milk, and smoking out the hive for the final honey harvest”. Its softly sweet and smoky scent pair beautifully with the scent I tend to use as a layer point for most things: Vaniglia Grave.
Described as “liturgical incense and smoked vanilla” it gives a great underpinning for so many scents, but especially for Hive. Together these bring to mind honey cakes and hot toddies, and a hint of nostalgia I wasn’t expecting.
